Contribute To One Demand

One Demand will not be making contributions to or endorsing any candidates so contributions to One Demand will only be used to maintain and improve the website, advertising, legal advice, representation and actions when necessary and reasonable compensation to myself and others (see “About the Founder”). One Demand will not be accepting any contributions until at least 1000 citizens are registered.

Until One Demand begins accepting contributions citizens can pledge to contribute to One Demand when we start accepting contributions. This can be accomplished during the registration process or by updating your profile if you have already completed the registration process.
Contributions to One Demand will only be accepted from individuals in the aggregate amount of 200 dollars or less per calendar year.

Contribute to Candidates

One Demand will not be collecting money for contributions to candidates or contributing or endorsing candidates. As the primary season approaches One Demand will provide a listing of all candidates noting which candidates are running as hundred dollar candidates. Participants will make their contributions directly to the candidates.

If there are no suitable hundred dollar candidates in your congressional district participants are encouraged to seek out and contribute to hundred dollar candidates in nearby districts. Of course, even if you do contribute to a hundred dollar candidate in your congressional district you can also contribute to hundred dollar candidates in other districts or other states for both congressional and senate contests. You can even contribute to both a Democratic and Republican hundred dollar candidate that are running in the primaries for the same office. If they both win the primaries for their respective parties it will almost guarantee a victory for a hundred dollar candidate in the general election.

Until there are hundred dollar candidates for participants to contribute to participants can pledge that they will contribute to hundred dollar candidates in the 2016 elections when candidates declare they are running as hundred dollar candidates. This can be accomplished during the registration process or by updating your profile.

One Demand will display the total amount pledged to candidates by participants. This total could encourage candidates to consider running as hundred dollar candidates as well as encourage more citizens to participate. For example, if 10% of the approximately 130 million general election voters pledged to contribute 100 dollars it would total 1.3 billion dollars.

And while contributions to individual candidates are limited to 200 dollars per election ( 200 dollars for the primary election and 200 dollars for the general election ) participants can pledge that they will make thousands of dollars worth of 200 dollar contributions to multiple candidates. For example you could pledge 10,000 dollars of contributions to candidates and make 50 contributions of 200 dollars to 50 candidates or 100 contributions of 100 dollars to 100 candidates. So if 10% of the 130 million general election voters pledged an average of 500 dollars in total contributions it would total 6.5 billion dollars, providing an even stronger incentive for candidates to declare as hundred dollar candidates and for more citizens to participate.
